About Sr. Hadil
My name is Hadil Issa. I am a certified teacher and this is my fourth year teaching. I have a Bachelor with Honours in Social Work and a Bachelor of Education in Primary and Junior Education from OISE.
I can't imagine myself doing anything other than teaching; it's what I was born to do! In the past, I've taught grade 7 at Islamic Foundation Scarborough campus and I'm looking forward in embarking on this new journey with you! Aside from teaching, I was involved in numerous extracurricular activities. I coached both girl's soccer and basketball, I started a middle school art club, and was Chapter President for the Spelling Bee of Canada.
My favourite subject, as a kid and until now is art. I loved learning it and I love teaching it! I also love to read and believe that it is an active mental process and helps develop critical skills that go beyond the classroom.
Outside of the classroom, I'm currently married and have a very active 4 year old son, masha'Allah. I lived in Jordan for 2 years and loved being in a Muslim country and hearing the sound of the adhan five times a day. My goals for the future is to become a better role model for my son, and students and to complete Hajj, insha'Allah.
